Himachal Pradesh rail network undergoes expansion programme

Himachal Pradesh state railway network is revamped with four expansion projects. The 63.1 km long Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Beri railway line expansion is undertaken with an investment of ₹ 67,690 million, while 50 km long Una-Hamirpur railway line is carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 30,441 million. Other two projects include 33.23 km long Chandigarh-Baddi railway line and 112.9 km long Nangal Dam-Talwara railway line.

On the above four projects, Una-Hamirpur railway line expansion project has been included in the budget.
